01 — Consultation

Mood, sleep
& stress.

A consultation about mood, sleep, stress, and energy as everyday wellbeing factors. This is an unhurried conversation with an AHPRA-registered Australian healthcare practitioner about how you have been feeling and what a measured next step might be.

This page describes the consultation only. Where a treatment plan is appropriate, it is shaped around your circumstances, and your practitioner decides what, if anything, follows. Individual results vary, and an assessment does not guarantee a particular outcome.

02 — The conversation

What the consultation
covers.

01

Mood and how you feel

How you have been feeling lately, what tends to lift or lower your mood, and the patterns sitting underneath the day to day. We listen to the whole of it.

02

Sleep and rest

How readily you fall asleep and stay asleep, how rested you feel, and the habits and pressures shaping your nights.

03

Stress and daily load

The load you are carrying, how it shows up in your body and mind, and where the pressure tends to build through the week.

04

Energy and rhythm

A considered look at the rhythms and changes you have noticed, and what a measured next step might reasonably involve.

03 — Who it's for

Who it's
for.

This consultation suits people who want to understand how mood, sleep, stress, and energy fit together. It may suit you if you feel flat, stretched thin, or not quite yourself, and want to understand why. It may suit you if your sleep has slipped, and rest no longer leaves you feeling restored. It may suit you if stress and energy seem tangled together, and you would value an unhurried view of both. And it may suit you if you have noticed changes you cannot quite place and want a considered conversation about them.

It is a starting point, not a verdict. Your practitioner will listen first, ask about the whole picture, and talk through what, if anything, is worth doing next. Sometimes the most useful outcome is in-person care or no treatment at all.

04 — What to expect

How it
unfolds.

01

Tell us about you.

A clinical intake: your history, your day, what brought you here. Completed at your own pace.

02

Speak with a practitioner.

A 30-minute consultation by video with an AHPRA-registered Australian healthcare practitioner. Long enough to ask questions and have them answered.

03

A treatment plan, if needed.

Advice, monitoring, a referral, lifestyle support, or a treatment plan where it is deemed medically appropriate. Your choice of pharmacy.

04

Ongoing care.

Your practitioner advises when a review is recommended. You can ask for an earlier appointment if your health changes. Your history is carried with you, visit to visit.

05 — Common questions

Asked often.

A few things people tend to want to know before they book. If something is not covered here, get in touch.

No. This is a consultation about mood, sleep, stress, and energy as everyday wellbeing factors. It is a conversation with an AHPRA-registered Australian healthcare practitioner about how you have been feeling and what, if anything, is worth doing next. Any treatment plan is decided together and only where clinically appropriate.

An AHPRA-registered Australian healthcare practitioner, by video, in a live appointment. They will listen first, ask about the whole picture, and talk through your options with you.

No referral is needed to book a consultation. If your practitioner feels a referral, GP review, or further investigation would help, they will discuss that with you during the appointment.

Outcomes vary from person to person. They may include advice, monitoring, lifestyle support, referral, further investigation, or, if deemed medically appropriate, a treatment plan. Sometimes the most useful outcome is in-person care or no treatment at all.

Telehealth is not suitable for everyone. Depending on your circumstances, your practitioner may recommend an in-person assessment or another form of care. Individual results vary, and a consultation does not guarantee a particular outcome.

06 — Please note

Telehealth is not suitable for everyone. Your practitioner may recommend in-person assessment, urgent care, GP review, referral to another doctor, further investigation, or no treatment, depending on your circumstances. Individual results vary, and a consultation does not guarantee a particular outcome. If you are in crisis or at risk of harm, call 000, or Lifeline on 13 11 14.
